Tony Khan has revealed his future plans for Ring of Honor storylines on AEW television.
ROH Final Battle 2022 will take place this Saturday, December 10 from Arlington, Texas.
Ahead of the show, Tony Khan conducted the Final Battle media call and revealed that he will be limiting ROH storylines on AEW TV. Some fans have been very critical of how much Ring of Honor they see on AEW Dynamite and Rampage.
With the exception of Chris Jericho’s ROH World Title storyline, Khan has tried to limit the ROH stories to Rampage. However, fans still criticized this decision because of the feeling from some that the ROH matches and stories take away from the already-stacked All Elite Wrestling roster.
The news of Tony Khan pulling back on ROH storylines should alleviate some of the concerns from fans who say that too much is being crammed into the weekly programs.
Khan also hinted that he will address the future of Ring of Honor getting on a TV/streaming platform in the future following Final Battle 2022.
Chris Jericho will defend the ROH World Title against Claudio Castagnoli at the event with the added stipulation that if Claudio loses, he must join the Jericho Appreciation Society.
