AEW fans were left with a lot of questions during this week’s AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash show, with the arrival of Mogul Affiliates.
The new group consists of Swerve Strickland, Parker Boudreaux, hopefully Rick Ross full time, and another member who was unidentified on the show.
The man was later revealed to be Granden Goetzman, a former baseball player who’d played in the minor league systems for the Tampa Bay Rays, the St Louis Cardinals, and the Houston Astros.
Goetzman had reportedly been with AEW for ‘quite some time’ ahead of his debut, and had been training with Jay Lethal ahead of his arrival.
However, Lethal isn’t the only member of the AEW roster who has been training Goetzman ahead of his debut.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is reporting that Matt Sydal has also had a hand in training Goetzman.
The segment ended with Swerve Strickland hitting a Swerve Stomp on Keith Lee with a cinderblock on his chest, seemingly writing him off the show for a few weeks.
