It’s January, and that means that Royal Rumble season is right around the corner, and just as every year, there has been heavy speculation about who could return during the match.
Some of WWE’s greatest ever returns have come from the Royal Rumble, whether it be John Cena in 2008 or Edge in 2020.
Well, it seems as though the Rated R Superstar could be set to make another return in the Rumble match this year.
Per PWInsider, both Edge and his wife Beth Phoenix are currently expected to make their returns at the Royal Rumble premium live event.
Neither WWE Hall of Famer has been seen since Edge lost an I Quit match to Finn Balor back at Extreme Rules in October.
Another big name that WWE has ‘absolutely’ discussed about a potential Royal Rumble appearance is Logan Paul, should he be cleared to return.
Paul suffered a knee injury during his Crown Jewel match against Roman Reigns, and has not appeared for WWE since.
Finally, another name that could be returning to the company during the Royal Rumble is WWE Raw star Doudrop.
Doudrop recently noted that she had been away from the company for an extended period of time due to an illness.
These returns, alongside the heavily speculated returns of Cody Rhodes and The Rock, are sure to make the Rumble matches exciting this year.
