Action Andretti will be… well, in action, on the January 20 edition of AEW Rampage, amid his push with the promotion.
Andretti is scheduled to face former ROH Pure Champion Daniel Garcia in singles action on the upcoming show.
The rising star made several AEW Dark appearances in 2022 ahead of his Dynamite debut on the December 14 show.
During this episode, Andretti scored a clean victory over former AEW World Champion and wrestling veteran Chris Jericho, to the shock of many.
Andretti has had run-ins with the Jericho Appreciation Society since, with Jericho blasting Andretti with a fireball on the December 21 show, and Andretti attempting to save Ricky Starks from a JAS beatdown on January 4.
Jericho hasn’t won a match on AEW TV since defending the ROH World Championship against Tomohiro Ishii on November 23.
Claudio Castagnoli defeated Jericho for the ROH World Title at the December 10 ROH Final Battle pay-per-view.
The wrestling veteran did pick up a win at PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2023, with the Jericho Appreciation Society defeating Jonathan Gresham, Evil Uno, SB Kento, Michael Oku, & Kevin Blackwood.
