Former Women’s Champion Candice Michelle has teased a Royal Rumble appearance, noting that she’s down for a WWE return.
With several former WWE stars usually appearing in Royal Rumble matches, there’s a lot of speculation about the names who could show up at the Alamodome on January 28.
Speaking with DS Shin of Ring The Belle, Michelle made it clear that she’s ready, noting:
“I’m so down for it. Even one year, they promoted that I was going to be there and people were like, ‘Why didn’t you show up?’ I was like, ‘The truth is they just never called me.’
“They have certain amount of people they gotta have, a certain look, group, and all that stuff. I just haven’t made the list yet. So I’m hoping this year; it’s in Texas. I live in Texas.
“It’s a good year to go back, I’m just saying. I’m ready. I hope it happens, but we’ll see what they do.”
Candice Michelle’s last full WWE match took place on a February 2009 edition of Raw, against Beth Phoenix.
She notably pinned Kelly Kelly for the 24/7 Championship on the July 22, 2019 Raw Reunion show, before dropping the gold to Alundra Blayze later that night.
