A top Japanese star hopes to wrestle in All Elite Wrestling again.
On the July 27, 2022 Fight For The Fallen edition of AEW Dynamite, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling’s Miyu Yamashita made her debut in a loss to then-AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa.
Yamashita is considered by many fans to be the ace of TJPW and one of the best female wrestlers in Japan. She is also the reigning EVE Champion.
Speaking to Steve Fall of Wrestling News, Miyu said that she would love to return to All Elite Wrestling. She said:
“This weekend, I’m facing Athena. It’s a big deal, it’s the main event, I believe. I hope to wrestle more in AEW, I hope to wrestle more in Tokyo Joshi, and I hope to wrestle as many places as I can, globally and all around the world.”
Mercedes Moné was recently seen with Miyu Yamashita and actually named her as someone she wants to wrestle following her debut at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.
Yamashita will challenge Athena for the ROH Women’s World Championship at Prestige Wrestling on January 21.
