IMPACT Star Thought She Would Face Mia Yim Upon Her Return To The Company WWE

An IMPACT Wrestling admitted that she thought she would face Mia Yim upon her return to the company.

In May 2022, Mia Yim returned to IMPACT Wrestling after her release from WWE in November 2021.

Despite clashing with Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace in just a few months with the company, Yim didn’t stick around IMPACT for long when she left the promotion and re-signed with WWE in November 2022.

During a virtual signing with Captain’s Corner, former IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Rosemary expressed how excited she was when Yim returned to the promotion.

On her assumption that they would cross paths in the ring, Rosemary said:

“We do too (love her moments with Mia Yim). There are people that just bring out the best in you and you really feel it afterwards (Rosemary laughed), and ‘Blue’, whether you wanna call her ‘Jade’ or you wanna call her ‘Mia’, we just call her Blue and she’s definitely one of those people.”

“When she came back to IMPACT Wrestling, we got very excited. There was a lot of things we were already doing at the time.”

“We couldn’t just go charging into her business. But, we really assumed that we were going to cross paths with her somewhere down the road and she already left so, that doesn’t mean we are not going to cross paths with her somewhere down the road still.”

“We will have, one day, a clash again with Blue in the ring but again, let that be a lesson to you. You see something in front of you, you go after it. Don’t wait for later because it might not be there.”

Upon her return to WWE, Mia Yim quickly aligned with AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows of The O.C. She also started to go by the moniker of “Michin”.
