Several independent wrestlers were backstage at the taping for Monday Night Raw on February 13 in Brooklyn, New York.
Per PWInsider, Azrieal, Kayla Sparks, Robby Vegas and The SAT were all backstage at the Barclays Center for this week’s taping.
All of these names are local to the New York area.
WWE has used Sparks as an enhancement talent in the past, with Sparks notably becoming the third competitor to appear on AEW and WWE TV on the same night when she appeared on SmackDown and wrestled on Rampage on February 25, 2022.
Azrieal wrestled two matches for AEW in 2021, during a set of Dark tapings.
Following reports that Hall of Famer Trish Stratus’ WWE return plans for the Raw episode had been scrapped, it has now been revealed that a Valentines Day segment was also nixed from the show’s lineup.
Monday’s show was the go-home edition of Raw for Saturday’s February 18 Elimination Chamber premium live event.
