A top WWE Raw star has hit a history-making milestone for a single championship reign in the company
According to womenswrestl17 on Twitter, WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair has:
” officially become the longest reigning black world champion ( male or female) in WWE history!”
In addition, if Belair reaches 399 days as champion, she will surpass Becky Lynch as the longest-reigning WWE Raw Women’s Champion in history.
Belair defeated Lynch at WrestleMania 38 on April 2 2022 to become the Raw Women’s Champion.
At the time of writing, Belair has amassed 346 days as the title holder, eclipsing MVP’s 343 day reign, as reported by Will Washington in October 2022.
Following her victory at Elimination Chamber, Asuka is set to face Bianca Belair at WWE WrestleMania 39 on April 1 & 2 2023.
On the March 20 episode of WWE Raw, Asuka and Bianca Belair will team together to face Carmella and Chelsea Green following the events of the March 13 episode of the red brand show.
