WWE CEO and President Nick Khan has commented on Stephanie McMahon, following rumors about her potential return to the company.
Following Vince McMahon’s departure in July 2022, Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan officially became co-CEOs of WWE.
Stephanie stepped away from this position in January, shortly after Vince’s return to the board of directors.
A recent report indicated that WWE appreciated Stephanie’s contributions to WWE, fuelling speculation that she could soon re-join the company.
Speaking on CNBC’s Closing Time, Nick Khan was asked about Stephanie McMahon, and if she’d return to WWE following a sale.
Nick stated that Stephanie did ‘phenomenal work across the board’ but also noted that ‘she seems to be in a great place.’
Noting that WWE would love to have her back, but it’s not up to them, Nick said:
“It’s a question for her. We would always love to have her as part of WWE.
“The time would need to be right for her and I’m not sure if she’s there yet.”
WWE has now confirmed that Vince McMahon is once again an employee with the company.
