AEW star Marina Shafir has noted that she regularly gets feedback from Jon Moxley following her matches.
Shafir has been highlighted as a name to watch in women’s wrestling for some time now, since her 2018-2021 run in WWE NXT.
She has been gaining popularity and experience since signing with AEW in 2022, where she regularly competes on Dark and Dark Elevation.
Speaking on the Swerve City podcast, Shafir noted that Moxley often watches and reviews her matches, noting:
“It’s really cool because he (Jon Moxley) just gives me like a little feedback after my matches. I feel like he states some obvious s**t sometimes (that) I just don’t see.
“He had said a few things to me (in a way that) I just absorb it a little bit better. His perspective on s**t that I do is very interesting.
“Some of the things that he has suggested for me (to do have) clicked.
“I still have some work to do, but I’m not very far off… It’s gonna be clicking for me whether it wants to or not, and he’s definitely helping me use that together.”
Many fans have called for the MMA Horsewoman to officially join Moxley’s Blackpool Combat Club faction.
Moxley himself spoke about Shafir and her potential recently, which you can read about at this link.
