Mercedes Mone has revealed her next stop following her IWGP Women’s Title loss at STARDOM All Star Grand Queendom.
During Sunday’s (April 23) show, Mone faced off against Mayu Iwatani with the IWGP Women’s Championship on the line.
Iwatani was ultimately victorious, pinning Mone after a two-step dragon suplex to become the third champion in the title’s lineage.
In her post-match interview, Mone noted that she wants one more opportunity to reclaim the IWGP Women’s Championship.
Confirming that she’s not done with NJPW or STARDOM, Mone stated that the next stop on her world tour will be NJPW Resurgence, which will air from Long Beach, California on May 21.
It is currently unclear whether she will face Iwatani in a rematch or have a different opponent at this event.
This coincides with a previous report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, who revealed that Mone’s contract with NJPW/STARDOM had been extended, and Mone’s next match was expected to take place in the US.

.@mercedesvarnado may have lost the IWGP Women's Championship tonight in Yokohama, but she is not done with NJPW or STARDOM!
