AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view kicked off officially with the 21 man Blackjack Battle Royal for the AEW International Championship.
After a record number of title defenses under his belt already, Orange Cassidy put his International Championship on the line against twenty of AEW’s brightest stars.
While the entrances kicked off on the Buy-In, the official pay-per-view started with the big Blackjack Battle Royal featuring a big array of top stars:
Jay White, Ricky Starks, Juice Robinson, Brian Cage, Keith Lee, Swerve Strickland, Dustin Rhodes, Penta El Zero M, Rey Fenix, Kip Sabian, Trent Beretta, Chuck Taylor, Tony Nese, Ari Daivari, Big Bill, Lee Moriarty, Komander, Bandido, The Butcher, and The Blade and Orange Cassidy.
In the end, the final three came down to Swerve Strickland, Big Bill and Orange Cassidy with some controversy between the two challengers about who should target Cassidy.
When Swerve appeared to defer to Bill, instead he rushed him to eliminate him while he had Orange Cassidy held high however, while the champ was able to stay in the ring Big Bill was not.
As Swerve and Orange Cassidy went to battle as the final two, there were big moves from each however in the end it was a well timed pair of feet to catch Swerve off the top rope that sealed the win for Cassidy.
Orange Cassidy was able to beat twenty other men to retain his AEW International Championship.
