Rey Mysterio has shared his honest thoughts on Triple H running WWE creative as the company’s chief content officer.
While Triple H was initially given this role in July 2022 following Vince McMahon’s departure, The Game eventually had to share creative responsibilities following McMahon’s return in January, with McMahon having a level of creative input.
It has more recently been reported that Triple H has now taken over “99.9%” of the company’s creative reins, with Vince McMahon reportedly no longer involved with the WWE creative process.
Speaking on Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour, Rey Mysterio explained why Triple H is a good fit for running WWE’s creative team:
“He was part of the roster so he understands what we do and go through and I don’t think they could have picked a better person to take that role. He’s been doing incredible, incredible.
“From the whole writing team and him and whoever the final person that gives the authorization to say, ‘That’s a go’, it’s been doing really, really good.
“To a certain extent, you know, we would have times where things would be changed last minute. Right now everything’s flowing very smooth, very, very smooth and it’s a good atmosphere.”
