Roman Reigns defends the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against LA Knight at Crown Jewel on November 4, 2023.
With WWE Survivor Series taking place on November 25, there’s been an update to the plans for the Tribal Chief.
WWE Survivor Series is one of the ‘Big Four’ Premium Live Events in the company’s calendar, so it would make sense to have their top champion there.
According to Dave Meltzer, however, that’s not the case in 2023, as he notes in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
Reigns is not scheduled for Survivor Series, which is notable because it’s considered a big four event. He defends at Crown Jewel and his next scheduled PPV match won’t be until Royal Rumble
WWE Royal Rumble takes place on January 27, 2024 at Tropicana Field in St Petersburg, Florida.
It was previously reported that a teased match between Reigns and Seth Rollins wasn’t on the planned card for Survivor Series.
In a later update, WWE released the official posted for Elimination Chamber in Australia this coming February, and Roman Reigns does not feature on the poster:
