After 18 months away from in-ring competition, Randy Orton has had his return date confirmed on tonight’s WWE Raw.
The final member of the men’s WarGames team at Survivor Series was revealed in the closing moments of tonight’s show.
In the Raw main event, Drew McIntyre won his match against Jey Uso to determine that the team of Judgment Day plus McIntyre would gain the advantage in WarGames.
However, still set to be revealed before the end of the night was the babyface team’s mysterious fifth member.
After searching for a fifth member, Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins said that their efforts to recruit another star were not fruitful.
However, Cody Rhodes said that his guy had picked up and that he was going to be there.
In the ring, Rhodes teased that the mystery man was someone he had a “legacy with”, and he didn’t even need the additional teases of the words “prey”, “apex predator” or even “voices in your head” for everyone in the live crowd to begin losing their minds.
When the crowd chanted “Randy!” Cody confirmed that they were indeed right, their fifth member was Randy Orton.
Also interestingly, Jey Uso looked very shocked and perhaps rightfully scared of this proposition.
Randy Orton last wrestled in May 2022 when he lost the Tag Team Championship he held alongside Matt Riddle against none other than Jimmy and Jey Uso.
