A former AEW star has reflected on their decision to leave the company earlier this year, calling it ‘necessary’.
Earlier this year, former AEW star and inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champion Frankie Kazarian announced that he had left AEW, returning to IMPACT Wrestling, where he found his first success in wrestling.
Taking to Twitter today, Kazarian reflected on his decision to leave AEW, calling it ‘difficult but necessary’, and encouraged others to take necessary steps in their careers.
He said:
In January I made a difficult, but VERY necessary decision. I decided to bet on myself. It resulted in the most rewarding, successful & overall fun years of my career.
I urge all of you who may be in a similar situation that action speaks louder than words. Don’t talk it, walk it
Kazarian was one half of the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions alongside Scorpio Sky in SCU, winning the titles against the Lucha Bros on the October 30, 2019 episode of AEW Dynamite.
