After splitting from his former tag team partner, WWE star Josh Briggs was successful in his first singles effort.
When Meta-Four was spotted backstage mocking the breakup of Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen and Fallon Henley as a faction, Briggs was unamused.
While Meta-Four speculated that the trio had broken up because of Briggs’ loss to Noam Dar, Briggs refuted this claim.
Telling them that their squad didn’t break up because of his loss for the NXT Heritage Cup, rather they decided to mutually part ways to pursue their different dreams.
But since it was brought up, Briggs blamed Oro Mensah for his loss and vowed to continue to chase championship gold.
Kicking off the mission, Briggs took on Oro Mensah tonight on NXT (January 9) and in the end was able to win the match.
Elsewhere, Brooks Jensen recently made his debut with a familiar sounding entrance theme.

Also on tonight’s NXT, a brand new tag team was victorious in their first match together, as Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker advanced to the next round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
