WWE has edited Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley out of a new video released showcasing Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns’ history in the Shield.
Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes took part in a great promo exchange on this week’s episode of Raw, where Rollins pitched an alliance with Rhodes to face Roman Reigns and The Rock.
Rollins referred to himself as the ‘only man on earth uniquely suited to be your shield’, which was an obvious reference to Rollins and Reigns’ time together in the Shield.
WWE has now created a video showcasing the history of the two men as part of the Shield alongside Dean Ambrose, though they made their best efforts to remove the third member of the group from the shots.
In the video, which you can see below, all shots of the Shield together have been cropped in order to not show too much of Ambrose.
Ambrose left WWE back in 2019 when he didn’t sign a contract extension with the company, before going on to join AEW as Jon Moxley, where he remains as one of the top stars to this day.
The Rock and Roman Reigns are set to appear on tonight’s SmackDown show in Salt Lake City.
