A current champion in AEW is currently unable to compete in the United States due to issues with their Visa.
Kyle Fletcher became the new ROH Television Champion back at ROH Final Battle in December, capturing the vacant championship after it was vacated by Samoa Joe.
Fletcher has been aligned with the Don Callis Family in recent months, though he has not been in action since January 31, where he faced Chris Jericho on Dynamite.
In an update from Fightful Select (Subscription required), Fletcher is currently out of action due to visa issues, making him unable to perform for AEW or Ring of Honor.
Fletcher has been acting as a singles wrestler over the past few months due to his partner Mark Davis being sidelined with an injury.
Fightful was told that AEW has been very happy with Fletcher’s performance over the past few months.
Prior to his visa issues, Fletcher was said to be set for a program with Ethan Page for the ROH Television Championship.
Fletcher isn’t the only AEW Champion currently out of action, as both ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta and AEW TBS Champion Julia Hart are sidelined with injury.
