A new championship match was added to the WWE WrestleMania 40 card on tonight’s edition of SmackDown from Memphis, Tennessee.
On tonight’s SmackDown, it was confirmed that Logan Paul would have not only one but two opponents at WrestleMania 40.
Keen to appear at WrestleMania 40, in an earlier backstage segment Logan Paul had chastised SmackDown GM Nick Aldis for not having done his job and made him a match yet.
However he also requested that Aldis broker an apology from Randy Orton to Logan Paul after last week’s RKO to KSI on top of the Prime Hydration logo.
When Aldis declined, he suggested that Logan Paul could go ask Randy Orton for an apology directly.
Later in the show, Randy Orton had a match against Grayson Waller with Austin Theory at ringside and the United States Champion Logan Paul joining the commentary team.
However after the match ended in pandemonium, Kevin Owens came out and almost found himself on the receiving end of an RKO from Orton, but after Owens countered, Orton and Owens both followed up with a consecutive RKO and Stunner combo on Theory.
When Nick Aldis appeared before Logan Paul could escape, he made it official that Paul would defend the United States Championship against both Randy Orton and Kevin Owens in a triple threat match at WrestleMania.
