3. The Great Khali
How does The Great Khali end up in this list? Well, there is a good reason for this to happen.
At SummerSlam Drew McIntyre will most likely take on his former 3MB compadre Jinder Mahal.
During an interview with “El Brunch De WWE” Mahal proposed the match to be a Punjabi Prison match.
The stipulation will forever be tied with The Great Khali. The last time the match happened, Khali also helped Mahal obtain the victory.
The Hall of Famer surely would spike interest in WWE’s heavily targeted Indian market as well.
2. Brock Lesnar
When is it ever not appropriate to discuss a Brock Lesnar return?
The beast has been absent from WWE since his WrestleMania 36 loss against Drew McIntyre.
Since then he has always been part of the speculation, even with some suggestions he might end up in AEW instead. This rumour has since been debunked.
Lesnar surely is a big attraction that WWE would still want to utilize, especially now with fans back. Bringing him back on August 21, 2021, would only make sense.
1. Braun Strowman
Braun Strowman was released in June 2021 as part of budget cuts.
However, since then the former Universal Champion claims to have multiple offers on the table.
One of which could be by his old employer. Strowman going back to WWE does not seem out of the realm of possibility.
WWE has reportedly been wary of AEW signing a number of top stars of late and has been interest in bringing Braun Strowman back at a reduced cost. If he is going to make a WWE return, a SummerSlam appearance would seem like an appropriate time.
