6. Intercontinental Championship Number One Contender’s Match – Bronson Reed VS. Ivar
Although the conclusion of the four-way Intercontinental Title number one contender match on the November 6 Raw caused plenty confusion, it was reported that The Miz was always set to be facing GUNTHER at Survivor Series.
So, while it seemed like WWE were perhaps gearing up Ivar to also receive a chance at the Austrian it was not to be this time. However, what’s to say the Viking Raider can’t have the next crack at ending GUNTHER’s record-breaking run.
Ivar and Bronson Reed are still circling The Ring General and a match between the two seems inevitable, so why not have it take place at Survivor Series’ pre-show and determine a new number one contender in a true clash of MEAT.
As much as its nice to see Miz receive his chance to tie Chris Jericho’s record nine Intercontinental Title reigns, there’s little to no chance he wins in Chicago, so GUNTHER vs Ivar should be next.
