Moriarty actually went toe-to-toe with Bryan Danielson a few months back and proved himself as a formidable foe.
The 27-year old was also mentioned during Bryan’s feud with Jon Moxley that preceded the Blackpool Combat Club as one of the young stars they wanted to train in violence.
Moriarty could be the best option out of the signed talent in All Elite Wrestling at the moment.
However, Danielson’s promo alluded to an outsider coming in to fill the role, so it doesn’t seem to be the upstart for this one.
