7 Surprises WWE Could Book At Crown Jewel 2023 WWE

WWE Crown Jewel 2023 is looking like perhaps the most exciting card in the over five year history of their partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

While many would expect some results to be foregone conclusions, that doesn’t mean WWE doesn’t have its share of potential wildcards they could pull out their sleeve.

Seven matches have been booked for the event thus far, and considering Triple H’s preference for Premium Live Events of a smaller scope, it’s unlikely they will book many more.

So, based on the matches announced it’s time to run through some potential swerves WWE could book.

From returns, upsets and title changes, let’s take a look at seven surprises that WWE could book at Crown Jewel 2023.

7. Damian Priest Puts Money in the Bank Briefcase On The Line

Starting with an entry that is more blind hope than anything, as despite Cody Rhodes vs Damian Priest being a fine match, there is very little stakes and not much separating it from your typical WWE Raw main event.

So, it would have been nice that before accepting Priest’s challenge to a match Cody had requested Priest put his most prized possession on the line.

While we don’t expect the briefcase to be a part of Cody finishing his story it would be the easiest way to get him to that point realistically.

So, whether it’s on the night or this coming week on Raw, Cody should goad Priest to putting all the marbles on the line.

Even if Priest retained the case through Judgment Day shenanigans or a DQ finish, it would at the very least add some intrigue to this one.
