AEW
At MLP Northern Rising 2026, Adam Copeland headlined the show in a win over Steve Maclin.
This marked another venue checked out of his list that has included the Maple Leaf Gardens, Wembley Stadium and Arena Mexico.
Now, the only famous arena left for Copeland to check off his list is Tokyo Dome.
Here are five potential Adam Copeland Tokyo Dome opponents.
Yota Tsuji

The most likely way for Adam Copeland to check the Tokyo Dome off his list would be at Wrestle Kingdom.
The yearly Tokyo Dome event for New Japan Pro Wrestling has seen several top AEW stars come over to compete.
If Cope comes to NJPW to face the best, he would not have to look any further than the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji.
“The Gene Blast” has carried the flag for New Japan since becoming the champion and would look to have an iconic battle of spears against “The Rated R Superstar” if he wanted a Tokyo Dome bout.
Zack Sabre Jr.
Looking at the NJPW roster, Zack Sabre Jr. is still highly regarded as the best technical wrestling in the business today.
Wanting to test himself in a different way, Adam Copeland might want to face a man that has proven himself against the best AEW has to offer.
With classics against Bryan Danielson, Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay under his belt, Sabre Jr. could face another huge name from the AEW roster next.
Considering the fact he has already headlined at the Tokyo Dome, ZSJ could open the doors of the famous building for Copeland to face him in a huge match at Wrestle Kingdom next year.
Konosuke Takeshita

While it may be a NJPW event at the Tokyo Dome, Adam Copeland could appear in a match against another AEW star.
Konosuke Takeshita is a former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, G1 Climax winner and remains an active part of the NJPW roster.
Having a contract with New Japan and All Elite Wrestling, “The Alpha” has showcased his ability against the best from both companies.
In a first time ever meeting, Takeshita could be exactly the kind of opponent that can push Cope to his limits inside the Tokyo Dome.
Kazuchika Okada
There might not anyone who has a legacy inside the Tokyo Dome quite like Kazuchika Okada.
Over the course of his career in NJPW, Okada has headlined the Tokyo Dome on 11 occasions, including retiring Hiroshi Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom 20 this year.
Now, “The Rainmaker” is one of the top stars in All Elite Wrestling and the current AEW International Champion.
The legend of Kazuchika Okada in the Tokyo Dome feels like an insurmountable obstacle that someone like Adam Copeland would be chomping at the bit to challenge himself against.
Kenny Omega

Speaking of AEW stars with legacies at the Tokyo Dome, Kenny Omega is another.
During his time in New Japan, Omega has had classics against Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Chris Jericho and Will Ospreay inside the Tokyo Dome.
If Adam Copeland wants a spot on the Wrestle Kingdom card, he could clash with another legendary Canadian.
With both men having a great deal of respect for one another, Omega vs. Copeland is the kind of dream match that the Tokyo Dome and NJPW Wrestle Kingdom is all about.
