AEW Stars To Win Vacant TNT Championship

On April 8 ahead of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan announced that Kyle Fletcher will be out of action for months due to a meniscus injury.

With this injury, it means that Fletcher will have to relinquish the AEW TNT Championship and a new champion will be determined in a Casino Gauntlet Match at the Dynasty 2026 pay-per-view.

With multiple names competing in this bout, there could be any number of stars who could walk out of Vancouver as the new TNT Champion.

Here are nine AEW stars to potentially win the vacant TNT Championship.

9. Tommaso Ciampa

Back on the January 31 edition of AEW Collision, Tommaso Ciampa made history by becoming the first male star to win an AEW title in their first match when he defeated Mark Briscoe to become the new TNT Champion.

However, Ciampa’s reign did not last too long as Kyle Fletcher defeated the former WWE star to win the TNT Championship on the February 11 edition of AEW Dynamite.

Now that the title is now vacant, “The Psycho Killer” now has the opportunity to become a two-time TNT Champion at AEW Dynasty 2026.

Following his win over Mascara Dorada on the April 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, Ciampa is the number one entrant in the Casino Gauntlet and will have the best chance to capture the TNT Title once again.

8. Bobby Lashley

On the April 2 episode of AEW Collision, Bobby Lashley, MVP and Shelton Benjamin of The Hurt Syndicate made their return to the company.

Coming back from injury, Lashley could be looking to make an immediate impact back in All Elite Wrestling.

Wanting to bring some gold back to The Hurt Syndicate, it feels like the right time for Lashley to win his first singles title in AEW.

7. Shelton Benjamin

Speaking of Bobby Lashley, The Hurt Syndicate could have another star who has what it takes to bring the TNT Championship to the group.

Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2024, Shelton Benjamin has reestablished himself as a more than capable in-ring performer.

Showing off his athleticism and strength, Benjamin has impressed AEW fans and overwhelmed his fellow stars on the roster.

Capturing his first singles title in nearly two decades, Benjamin could show the world just how much he has left in the tank by winning the Casino Gauntlet to become the new TNT Champion.

6. Sammy Guevara

Following the announcement of Kyle Fletcher relinquishing the TNT Championship, Sammy Guevara took to social media to post a picture of himself with the title.

Guevara is one of the most prolific TNT Champions in the history of the title, being a three-time titleholder.

While he has not been featured consistently on AEW TV, Guevara has been a champion in Ring of Honor as the three-time and reigning ROH World Tag Team Champion.

Now that the title is vacant, it might be time for Sammy Guevara to get his way back on AEW programming by winning his record-breaking fourth TNT Championship at Dynasty 2026.

In March, David Finlay officially signed with All Elite Wrestling after ending his 11-year run with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

“The Rebel” has been recognized as one of the best in-ring performers in NJPW over the past few years.

While he has not competed in singles competition since signing with AEW this year, the Casino Gauntlet could use his first opportunity to win championship gold.

Finlay getting through every other competitor and using The Dogs would clear the path for himself to win the TNT TItle in the Casino Gauntlet at AEW Dynasty 2026.

4. Gabe Kidd

While David Finlay has been the leader of the Bullet Club War Dogs during their run in New Japan, Gabe Kidd has taken more of a frontman position in The Dogs in All Elite Wrestling.

“The Mad Man” has been a presence on AEW TV since 2025 where he became the mercenary for Jon Moxley and The Death Riders.

The former IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion recently made his return to NJPW to kickstart a war with AEW.

Showing his new status as a rising star on the AEW roster, Kidd could be the one to become the new TNT Champion in the Casino Gauntlet Match at the Dynasty 2026 pay-per-view.

3. Kevin Knight

In recent weeks, fans have seen the rise of Kevin “The Jet” Knight that has made him look like a new top star in All Elite Wrestling.

On the March 4 edition of AEW Dynamite, MJF defeated Knight to retain the AEW World Title. Then on the March 28 AEW Collision, Knight came up short yet again in a title match when he lost to Kazuchika Okada in an International Championship match.

Despite being one third of the AEW World Trios Champions, Knight feels on the cusp of capturing his first singles title in the company.

Speaking of Kevin Knight, “Speedball” Mike Bailey has been on a roll himself with singles and trios success as of late.

With singles victories over Mark Davis and Rocky Romero, Bailey has showcased what makes him one of the best in the world today.

While he is also one third of the AEW World Trios Champions with Kevin Knight and Mistico, “Speedball” looks determined to capture singles gold in All Elite Wrestling.

After recently coming up short against Kyle Fletcher for the same title, AEW Dynasty 2026 might be the right setting for “Speedball” to win his first singles title by winning the Casino Gauntlet to capture the TNT Championship.

1. Brody King

2026 has been the best year in the career of Brody King with his rise up the ranks being a featured story over the past few months.

King has picked up one of the biggest wins of his career when he defeated MJF in an AEW World Title Eliminator Match and has even challenged for the top prize in the promotion.

While he came up short in that challenge, it feels like only a matter of time before Brody finally becomes a singles champion in the company.

Brody going through everyone else in the Casino Gauntlet at AEW Dynasty 2026 would make for a perfect coronation for one of the most popular stars on the roster today.
