WWE
There always a possibility of last-minute changes and additions to the annual WWE Money in the Bank ladder matches, which take place on October 10.
We’ve seen it in the past – most notable in 2019 with Brock Lesnar, who went on to win the match, and also in 2022 with Austin Theory, who did exactly the same and won the Money in the Bank contract that year.
Now that it’s been a few years since it last happened, perhaps WWE could look to shake things up once again with some last-minute additions or replacements into either the men’s or women’s ladder matches.
Here are a few ways WWE could pull out some more surprise entrants for Money in the Bank this time around.
Out: Je’Von Evans, In: Big Cass

When Big Cass returned to WWE in August, Je’Von Evans was his first target.
For weeks on end, Cass ambushed Evans until Evans eventually got the better of him by winning their Money in the Bank qualifier that also included Austin Theory.
Could Cass come back around to continue the story by taking Evans out of the match with another attack and replacing him at the last minute?
In the old Vince McMahon led WWE, perhaps, but nowadays… probably not.
Out: Roxanne Perez, In: Liv Morgan

2022 women’s Money in the Bank winner Liv Morgan has a Women’s World Championship match at the event this year, in a three-way match against Becky Lynch and defending champion Stephanie Vaquer.
Morgan’s Judgment Day teammate Roxanne Perez is in action too, as she enters the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Ever since Perez joined Judgment Day there have been subtle signs of her breaking up with the group at some point, which is a storyline point that WWE often seems to forget about for a while, but then comes back to.
If that storyline is to continue going somewhere, WWE could use Money in the Bank as another point to advance it – if Morgan loses her title match, she could forceably replace Perez in the ladder match and take away Perez’s chance at earning a title shot of her own.
In: Royce Keys

Royce Keys has become one of the top names on the WWE Raw roster in recent weeks, forming the new 946 group with NXT stars Bronco Nima, Lucien Price and Jaida Parker.
946’s prime targets have been The Bloodline, which is of course headed up by current World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.
While there isn’t an ongoing issue with anyone in the ladder match for him to directly take out, Royce Keys could target any of the six men to force his way in and earn a future shot at Reigns’ title by winning Money in the Bank.
Out: CM Punk, In: Drew McIntyre

In 2024, the feud of the year in all of wrestling was the rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.
They’ve barely interacted since then, but it feels like the issues between them will come back around some day.
McIntyre has been away from WWE TV for almost six months now after his loss to Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania, and it seems like he’s gearing up to return in the not too distant future.
One big impact way for him to do that would be taking out his old rival Punk and replacing him in the Money in the Bank ladder match – not even so he can win it himself, but just so he can prevent Punk from doing so.
