After ending Flammer’s historic reign back at AAA TripleMania, the WWE fans have seen a lot of new Reina de Reinas Champion La Catalina in recent weeks.
After appearing in a Money In The Bank qualifier on Monday Night Raw, Catalina has made numerous recent appearances in NXT, including on this week’s show where she defended her title against Kali Armstrong.
With Catalina getting a lot of spotlight recently, here are some more potential matches we could see for La Diva del Ring.
Singles encounter with IYO SKY
IYO SKY, La Catalina and Roxanne Perez faced off in a Money In The Bank Qualifier on Raw
In her Money In The Bank qualifier on Raw, Catalina faced off against Roxanne Perez and IYO SKY, with Roxanne picking up the win to get into the match.
While Catalina and Roxanne would then also go on to face off at Worlds Collide that same weekend, we are yet to see IYO and Catalina go at it in a singles amtch.
If IYO ends up winning the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, her facing off against Catalina in a Raw match would be a great defence.
Teaming with Stephanie Vaquer
Stephanie Vaquer and La Catalina are WWE’s two Chilean born superstars
The weekend that Catalina became Reina de Reinas Champion, she wasn’t the only Chilean wrestler to capture a title, as Stephanie Vaquer won the Women’s World Championship at a live event in Chile.
The two Chilean stars have yet to cross paths in WWE, and with Catalina having now made appearances on Raw, it seems closer than ever that the two could end up teaming up.
If Stephanie ends up needing help against the Judgment Day, she knows who she can call.
NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan
During her first appearance on NXT, Catalina would end up interrupting NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan, with her then going on to team with Thea Hail to defeat Kelani and Zaria the following week.
Catalina also appeared in last week’s Battle Royal to earn a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship, though she was unsuccessful.
With champion vs. champion fever in the air as WWE heads towards Crown Jewel, a big clash between the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion and NXT Women’s Champion would make sense.
