WWE NXT is now on the road to the spookiest night of the year, with WWE Halloween Havoc set to take place on October 31.

Two championship matches have now been made official for the show, with more matches to be added closer to the time.

However, there are a number of surprises that we could see take place at this year’s event.

Here are some surprises we could see at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2026.

Kendal Grey costs Wren Sinclair NXT Women’s Championship

Wren Sinclair is set to challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time in her career at Halloween Havoc after she shockingly won a Battle Royal while dressed as Lady Shani.

Wren’s victory came at a time when Kendal Grey had been out of action after her match with Kelani Jordan, with her announcing on this week’s show that she had been cleared to return.

Fans had been speculating about Wren potentially turning on Kendal for a while, but perhaps we had it the wrong way around this whole time.

New Birthright member takes out Zilla Fatu

Birthright have been targeting Zilla Fatu since the Main One finally arrived in NXT, with them looking to get him to join their ranks.

While no match has been confirmed, Zilla is advertised for Halloween Havoc on the event’s poster, meaning he will almost certainly appear on the show in some capacity.

If the match is indeed a bout between Zilla and Birthright, whether singles or a tag team match, we could see an actual new member of the group arrive to cost him the match.

Grayson Waller banishes Tony D’Angelo from NXT

Tony D’Angelo is the last of a generation in NXT, with all of his NXT 2.0 contemporaries now in major roles on the WWE main roster, aside from Grayson Waller, who returned to NXT to capture the NXT Championship he never held.

D’Angelo has won every title possible on NXT, including the now defunct Heritage Cup, so it feels like it really is a now or never situation for him on the main roster.

Triple H was clearly not a fan of D’Angelo’s previous character, but with him now finding a new persona, we could finally see the Don make his way to Raw or SmackDown, with Waller ending his NXT run.
