In recent weeks, we have seen a number of new signings make their debut for WWE.

Names like Kyoki (Hiromu Takahashi), Cruz Montana and Zilla Fatu have all signed with the company, but there could be more new faces to debut soon.

Specifically, we could see a number of current free agents make their debut for the company soon.

Here are more free agents we could see sign with WWE.

Richard Holliday

It has been reported for a number of weeks that WWE has interest in potentially signing independent wrestling veteran Richard Holliday.

Holliday seemingly said goodbye to GCW after his recent match in the promotion at Melee in Manchester, and more signs are now pointing to his NXT arrival.

Earlier today, Holliday reshared the footage of him saying goodbye to GCW, saying he can now ‘finally speak on it’ and that he will ‘address it over the weekend’.

With NXT Heatwave this weekend, it sure seems as though Holliday is teasing his imminent debut.

Mara Sade

It was reported last month that former WWE NXT star Mara Sade had departed TNA Wrestling after just a year with the promotion.

Mara, then going by Jakara Jackson, was initially released from WWE back in May 2025 after spending several years on the NXT brand.

With Mara now a free agent, there has been some reported in interest from WWE on potentially bringing her back into the company.

Mara was part of TNA’s team against team NXT back at the Showdown event in October 2025, which served as her return to WWE television.

Max Caster

One current AEW star whose contract is reportedly set to expire in the coming months is former AEW World Tag Team Champion Max Caster.

After finding incredible success with Anthony Bowens in the Acclaimed, he and Bowens have both struggled to stand out as singles stars in the company since.

In the case of Caster, he has yet to compete in a single match on AEW television in the year 2026.

It could be that the next time we see Caster is on NXT television.

Leon Slater

Questions about Leon Slater’s immediate future were answered this past weekend at TNA Lockdown, when Slater recaptured the TNA X-Division Championship from Cedric Alexander.

The stipulation for the match would have seen Slater’s X-Division Championship reign be wiped from history had he have lost, which many would have taken as a sign he would be signing with AEW.

However, since Slater won and his reign remained in the history books, more questions emerged about his future, and where he may end up when his contract comes up at the end of the year.

Slater was part of the John Cena’s Final Match edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, so there is clear interest in him from the company.

Eric Young

Eric Young requested and was granted his release from TNA Wrestling following this year’s Slammiversary event.

Following his departure, it was reported that Young was set to make his return to WWE, with him slated to serve as a player/coach on the NXT brand similar to the role Shawn Spears is currently in.

It was also noted that Young’s time with NXT was not expected to start until September, which would free him up to appear any time from next week onwards.

This would be Young’s third time with WWE, his prior two departures coming from not wanting to work for Vince McMahon.
