Predicting The Match Order For WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night Two

WWE has announced the match card for both nights of the SummerSlam 2026 premium live event on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2.

This huge event from Minneapolis will have some major bouts that might make for a special evening where new champions are crowned and the landscape is shifted drastically.

The match order for night two will be important to make sure that the fans leave SummerSlam this year on a high.

Here are our predictions for the match order for WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night Two.

Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill vs. Chelsea Green vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Giulia or Lash Legend – Interim WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match

At WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.

At a live event not long after that, Ripley suffered a knee injury that has put her on the shelf ever since.

This has led to the company deciding to name an interim WWE Women’s Champion in a five-way ladder match at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Over the past few weeks, Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton have all qualified for the bout with one more spot available, so it should be interesting to see who walks out Minneapolis as interim WWE Women’s Champion.

Penta (c) vs. Chad Gable – Intercontinental Championship

After losing the Mask vs. Mask match against El Grande Americano at AAA Noche de Los Grandes, Chad Gable has been on a redemption arc trying to make things right.

Apologizing to all the luchadors on the WWE roster, Gable has stepped back in the ring to prove himself to be a champion.

The entire downfall and descent for Gable started when he could not win the WWE Intercontinental Championship from GUNTHER three years ago.

Now, the former Olympian will look to finally win the elusive title from Penta in Gable’s own hometown of Minneapolis at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio – Human Monies On A Pole Match

Over the past several months, Danhausen has been making The Judgment Day’s lives a living hell.

Ahead of his King of the Ring semi-final match against Oba Femi, Dominik Mysterio went to Danhausen and gave him money to curse ‘The Ruler.’ However, Danhausen refused to do so.

This led to the past several weeks where Judgment Day has been trying to get their money back from Danhausen. At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Danhausen defeated JD McDonagh with the help of the New York Knicks center Karl Anthony Towns.

Following an attack from Judgment Day and Ryan Garcia, Danhausen will now face ‘Dirty Dom’ in a Human Monies on a Pole match at SummerSlam that will finally settle things once and for all.

Trick Williams (c) vs. Baron Corbin – United States Championship

On the July 10 edition of WWE SmackDown, Baron Corbin made his return to the company and attacked both Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes.

After laying out Williams, Corbin made it clear that he was looking to beat him for the United States Championship sooner rather than later.

Corbin then initiated another attack to Trick following his four-way match on the July 24 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Now, Trick will defend the United States Championship against Corbin on night two of WWE SummerSlam 2026 on August 2.

Sami Zayn vs. Finn Balor – Undisputed WWE Championship #1 Contender’s Match

After losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to CM Punk on the July 6 edition of Monday Night Raw, Sami Zayn has become even more obsessed than ever before in the top prize on SmackDown.

Claiming a conspiracy against him, Zayn demanded he be added to the Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam 2026.

However, Adam Pearce instead announced a number one contender’s match with Zayn against the winner of a four-way. This saw Finn Balor defeat Damian Priest, Royce Keys and Trick Williams to advance to Minneapolis.

With two of WWE’s best in-ring performers, Balor and Zayn could have a showstealer on the SummerSlam 2026 card.

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins – World Heavyweight Championship

Roman Reigns is no doubt the biggest star in WWE today and will look to get the one monkey on his back off at SummerSlam 2026.

Over the past 12 years, Seth Rollins has had Reigns’ number at every turn of their career when the lights are the brightest between them.

After being taunted by Rollins, Reigns accepted his challenge and wants to finally overcome his Shield brethren when it matters the most.

Looking to end WWE SummerSlam 2026 weekend on a strong note, Reigns and Rollins feels like the biggest match possible to close night two.
