Title Change On AEW Dynamite

A title change has taken place on tonight’s July 29 episode of AEW Dynamite emanating from the Masonic Temple in Detroit, Michigan.

With multiple title matches throughout the show, it was the main event that finally saw a championship change hands.

During Dynamite, Andrade El Idolo retained the AEW National Title in a three-way against Nick Wayne and Jack Perry, Maya World retained the TBS Championship against Persephone, and Jon Moxley retained the Continental Title against Komander.

However, there was finally a title change in the main event as The Demand – made up of Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona – became AEW World Trios Champions.

They defeated the former champions of Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong, who had held the title since the April 12 edition of Dynamite.

The Demand’s win came thanks to some help on the outside from their recent allies The Lethal Twist – made up of Jay Lethal, Lee Johnson and Blake Christian.

The Demand are the 13th different team to hold the AEW World Trios Championship since the title was first introduced in September 2022, with The Elite’s Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks being the only trio to have held it twice.

The win marks Kaun and Liona’s first title victory in AEW, though they were twice previously ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions alongside Brian Cage.

Meanwhile, Ricochet is a former AEW National Champion so this marks his second title since joining the promotion from WWE in August 2024.

Stadium Stampede At AEW All In London?

With The Demand and The Lethal Twist forming a six-man alliance, it appears there could be a Stadium Stampede match brewing for All In London at Wembley later this month.

The Conglomeration is made up of several more members in addition to Cassidy, O’Reilly and Strong – namely Mark Briscoe, Tomohiro Ishii and Hologram – so that would even the odds and make up a six-on-six Stadium Stampede.

However, Hologram’s spot would be reliant on him returning from an injury that’s kept him out of action since last September, so that spot could end up being someone else unless he makes a return in time.

UPDATE: On Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page and Brody King actually made the save as The Demand & Lethal Twist attempted a six-on-three post-match attack, so it could be that Page, King and potentially King’s tag team partner Bandido make up the other three spots if Stadium Stampede is the direction.
