17-time WWE world champion John Cena has reacted to Grayson Waller’s worked shoot promo from Tuesday’s episode of NXT.
The July 28 episode opened with Grayson Waller taking to the ring to call out a number of targets.
After calling the past two years of his career an absolute embarrassment, Waller shared harsh comments on Austin Theory, The New Day, the NXT men’s division, new signings, and many other subjects.
With the likes of CM Punk and Bayley praising Waller following this segment John Cena is the latest star to share a nod to the former WWE Tag Team Champion.
The WWE legend took to Twitter to state that he’s eager to see what unfolds with Waller on NXT.
Cena wrote:

One of Grayson Waller’s main targets was new signee Cruz Montana, with Waller attacking the former “Mike Santana” as well as NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo later on in the show.
Prior to this, Waller had fired shots at Montana and his TNA history on the mic, stating that being the top guy in TNA Wrestling is “like being the best basketball player at the local YMCA”.
Montana addressed Grayson Waller on the Busted Open podcast following the episode, noting that his history with TNA Wrestling means a lot to him.
The former Mike Santana also explained his decision to leave TNA Wrestling and ultimately sign with WWE, noting that he was comfortable in TNA but wanted the opportunity to grow.
Many people will agree with John Cena and also be eager to see what plays out over the next few weeks on NXT, with both Waller and Montana being presented as potential future NXT Championship challengers.
