With days remaining until WWE SummerSlam 2026, the results of both nights will hold significant ramifications for both Raw and SmackDown moving forward.

The Night Two card will feature four championships up for grabs, the number one contendership for the Undisputed WWE Championship, and of course, some human monies on the line.

The results of these matches will offer some new directions for several different stars to go in and completely shift the landscape of WWE.

Here is our full preview and predictions for the WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night Two card, with betting odds courtesy of Paddy Power.

Interim WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match: Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill vs. Chelsea Green vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. TBD

WWE SummerSlam 2026 poster for the Interim WWE Women's Championship Ladder Match

Jade Cargill defeated Nia Jax via disqualification to qualify for the Interim WWE Women’s Title Ladder Match, while Tiffany Stratton got past Jacy Jayne.

At WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.

During the course of the bout, Ripley suffered a torn meniscus injury that has been on the shelf ever since.

With her in-ring future in question, the company has decided to give Ripley some more time by announcing a five-way ladder match to determine an interim WWE Women’s Champion.

Over the past several weeks, Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, Chelsea Green and Charlotte Flair have all qualified for the ladder match at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Considering there will be one more qualifying match, it should be interesting to see who makes it to this huge bout in Minneapolis.

While she has not held a singles title since 2023, it might be the right time for “The Queen” to once again become WWE Women’s Champion at the SummerSlam 2026 premium live event.

Prediction: Charlotte Flair
Betting Favorite: N/A

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Penta (c) vs. Chad Gable

WWE SummerSLam 2026 poster for Penta vs. Chad Gable

Chad Gable has never won a singles championship in WWE.

After losing his Original El Grande Americano mask at AAA Noche de Los Grandes 2026, Chad Gable has been on a mission of redemption.

Making amends with the luchadors on the roster, Gable looked to show his growth by apologizing to everyone he disrespected with his actions as The Original El Grande Americano.

Gable also attempted to look for forgiveness from his former stablemates in Alpha Academy.

After all these apologies were given, Gable has since started working his way through the ranks once again to challenge for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

This led to Gable winning the number one contender’s gauntlet match to earn a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Now that he is set to challenge for the gold, Gable has the opportunity to finally redeem himself and win his first singles title in his hometown of Minneapolis.

Gable overcoming Penta could make for an unforgettable moment for the former Olympian who realizes his dream in front of his family and friends at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio – Human Monies On A Pole Match

WWE SummerSlam 2026 poster for Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio

SummerSlam will be Danhausen’s first one-on-one match at a WWE PLE.

Since making his WWE main roster debut, Danhausen has drawn the ire of several stars on both Raw and SmackDown.

When Danhausen first arrived on Monday Night Raw, the ‘Very Nice, Very Evil’ star made Dominik Mysterio the first name on the roster to be “cursed.”

This led to Mysterio losing the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Penta on that same show.

After entering the King of the Ring tournament, ‘Dirty Dom’ looked to get the edge over his semifinals opponent Oba Femi by paying Danhausen money to curse him.

However, Danhausen not only did not curse Femi, but also kept The Judgment Day’s money as well. Over the past few weeks, The Judgment Day have desperately been trying their best to retrieve their lost money from the face painted star.

At the July 18 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Danhausen defeated JD McDonagh with an assist from Karl Anthony-Towns of the New York Knicks.

Despite this win, The Judgment Day have still been a thorn in the side of their rival, leading to Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio being announced for the WWE SummerSlam 2026 card.

Danhausen getting the win in Minneapolis seems like the most likely of this grudge match on August 2.

WWE United States Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Baron Corbin

WWE SummerSlam 2026 poster for Trick Williams vs. Baron Corbin.

Baron Corbin made his return to WWE during the July 10 episode of SmackDown.

Ever since arriving on the WWE main roster, Trick Williams has been one of the most popular stars on the SmackDown brand.

Now that he holds the United States Championship, Williams has a target directly on his back.

This led to Baron Corbin making his return to the company after nearly two years to attack Trick and Carmelo Hayes on the July 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

After a second attack on the July 24 SmackDown, Williams had enough and challenged Corbin to an United States Title match at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Corbin has come back into WWE with a chip on his shoulder trying to prove that someone like Trick can offer what he does.

Despite his recent return, it does feel a bit early to take the gold off of Trick Williams and could see him take down Baron Corbin in Minneapolis this Sunday.

Prediction: Trick Williams
Betting Favorite: Trick Williams (Trick Williams 3/10 Baron Corbin 2/1)

Sami Zayn vs. Finn Balor – Undisputed WWE Championship #1 Contender’s Match

WWE SummerSlam 2026 poster for Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn.

Finn Balor won his first and only world championship in WWE (Universal Championship) at SummerSlam 2016.

At WWE Night of Champions 2026, Sami Zayn defeated Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Unfortunately for Zayn, his reign was short-lived as he went on to lose the Undisputed WWE Championship to CM Punk on the July 6 edition of Monday Night Raw.

Upset with his omission from the title bout at WWE SummerSlam 2026, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Zayn will face the winner of a four-way in a number one contender’s match at ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer.’

This led to Finn Balor defeating Damian Priest, Trick Williams and Royce Keys to advance to the WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event.

Despite being in WWE for the past 13 years collectively, Zayn and Balor are still two of the best in the entire company and should make for a potential showstealer.

While Balor has some momentum heading into this bout, it feels like Sami Zayn should remain a threat for the Undisputed WWE Championship moving forward and could win in Minneapolis.

Prediction: Sami Zayn
Betting Favorite: Sami Zayn (Sami Zayn 4/7 Finn Balor 6/5)

WWE World Heavyweight Championship – Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins

Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins WWE SummerSlam 2026 poster.

Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins will be the main event of WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night Two.

For the first time since defeated his now Bloodline ally Jacob Fatu at WWE Clash in Italy, Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship on a PLE, as he takes on former Shield “brother” Seth Rollins.

As expected, the build to Reigns vs. Rollins has been centered around their history in The Shield and meetings beyond that.

There has also been a lot made of Reigns’ losing record against Rollins, adding weight to the idea that ‘The OTC’ could be in danger of losing his title in Minneapolis.

While WWE want fans to believe that, it seems unlikely that Reigns will be dropping his title at this point in time, particularly given that he is advertised for several dates – including October’s Money in the Bank PLE – after SummerSlam.

Reigns needs a definitive win over Rollins to wrap up their 14 year story, one without Bloodline interference, and that’s what we believe will happen on Sunday.

Setting himself up for a potential meeting with Oba Femi in the future, Reigns should hold on to the big gold belt at SummerSlam.

Prediction: Roman Reigns
Betting Favorite: Roman Reigns (Roman Reigns 1/7 Seth Rollins 4/1)
