Other than eventual winner Asuka, Michelle McCool had arguably the most impressive entry in the women’s Royal Rumble, scoring five eliminations. The four-time champion was eventually eliminated by Natalya.
Since then, McCool’s biggest headline was her denouncing of Rusev and Lana after mistaking a comment by the ‘Bulgarian Brute’ about her husband the Undertaker’s age to be a shoot.
However, during NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV, a graphic promoting pre-sale for Evolution featured an image of McCool. While that could mean she’ll be featured on commentary or in another minor role, her performance at the Rumble shows that the former champ can still hold her own in a match.
We don’t know Michelle McCool’s exact role yet. But now we’ll move on to a speculated main event…
