Jey Uso Interferes In Sami Vs. Roman
People sometimes forget that this whole Tribal Chief thing started as a grudge between Jey Uso and Roman Reigns.
Seriously, in late 2020/early 2021, Jey was the biggest babyface in the world, embroiled in an intense psychodrama with his slowly-unravelling cousin.
He was basically the Thunderdome’s equivalent of Sami Uso, and if there had been crowds at the time they’d probably have argued that he should replace Edge and D-Bry in the main event of WrestleMania 37.
In a lot of ways the Bloodline story has always been about him; abused into submission by his cousin, rejecting and then fully embracing Sami, before ultimately turning his back on his family for the greater good.
While there isn’t a hope in hell for Sami to win against Roman six weeks out from ‘Mania, if he ever did stand a chance it would be because of the involvement of his one-time rival-turned-brother Jey.
I guess the only question is: who would he side with?
If Triple H decides that he wants us to suffer, he could do that classic NXT thing and cost Sami the title at the last second via a not-so-shocking Jey Uso heel turn.
But if he sides with Sami…
