Every WWE Money In The Bank Cash-In Ranked

13. Kane – Money in the Bank 2010

This was the first time someone had cashed-in Money in the Bank on the same night they won it. Kane was trying to figure out who had attacked The Undertaker and his current suspicion was Jack Swagger. Swagger was challenging Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship on this night and when Mysterio won, Swagger wasn’t satisfied. He continued to attack Mysterio after the match, leading to Kane making the save.

This is where Kane’s cash-in got great as he stopped and realized what he could do. He had the chance to take the World Heavyweight Championship from Mysterio and he took his shot. The drama made the moment special and the fastest cash-in ever at the time was unique in its execution.

12. Carmella – SmackDown (April 10, 2018)

Carmella was the first Ms. Money in the Bank and so far she has been the best. She had the benefit of a long run with the briefcase so when she finally cashed-in the moment was huge. She also had the benefit of having the moment come in front of a post-WrestleMania crowd, which enhanced the reaction significantly.

The only reason this ranks so low on the list is because of the circumstances. Carmella cashed-in on Charlotte who had just beaten Asuka at WrestleMania. Considering WWE got nothing out of beating Asuka because of this cash-in, it loses points.

11. CM Punk – Raw (June 30, 2008)

CM Punk’s first run as Mr. Money in the Bank was bizarre. He did not seem like the kind of guy who would be WWE Champion but the intended winner of the Money in the Bank match (Jeff Hardy) got suspended. Thus, Punk stepped up to take the briefcase. In the lead-up to his cash-in, Punk didn’t have any singles matches or wins on pay per view. He was far from a main-event star when June 30, 2008, rolled around.

The cash-in itself was pretty great. Edge had defeated Batista the night before at Night of Champions, leaving Raw without a World Champion. He came out to gloat about it and before he could leave, Batista beat him to a pulp. This gave Punk an opening to cash-in his contract and win the title to a massive reaction. His reign never lived up to this moment, but thankfully he had another opportunity a year later.

10. The Miz – Raw – Raw (November 22, 2010)

The Miz was marked to be the next top guy of WWE in 2010. It is hard to imagine now, but The Miz being Mr. Money in the Bank was going to be his launching point. He held the briefcase for four months before cashing in on Randy Orton. Orton had just been through a beating from the Nexus and a grueling match with Wade Barrett.

Orton and Miz had a bit of a match here before Miz finally hit the Skull Crushing Finale to win his only WWE Championship. Ultimately, The Miz flopped as champion, failing to have good matches or storylines. However, this cash-in was fantastic and it provided the world with the Angry Miz Girl meme. Classic.

9. Rob Van Dam – One Night Stand 2006

It is difficult to list Rob Van Dam’s cash-in on the same page as these other ones. Van Dam was the first person to ask for a scheduled match when he cashed-in his Money in the Bank contract and he did so at One Night Stand 2006.

They had a pretty good match with John Cena getting the most overwhelmingly negative reaction of his career. The only problem with this match is that Paul Heyman counting the pin kinda cheapened the moment. You could tell the crowd looked at this as being a little off but it was still a cool moment for Rob Van Dam and the ECW fans in attendance.
