WWE
There’s a certain cachet that comes with being a “Paul Heyman Guy”, with the star himself being responsible for shepherding talent to stardom.
With Brock Lesnar retired and CM Punk no longer in need of the “voice of the voiceless”, an opening exists for a future top star to be tapped for representation by Logan Paul:
Bron Breakker
It’s clear that Paul Heyman still has a relationship of sorts with The Vision, despite being more hands off with the faction than he has previously been.
When it comes to a single member who very much fits the template of a “Paul Heyman Guy”, it has to be Bron Breakker.
This is more than just the on-screen representation, with Heyman tasked as Breakker’s coach, an instruction that came from Triple H. While Breakker doesn’t necessarily need a mouthpiece, teaming him with Heyman in after The Vision would add a sense of greater prestige to a star who is already destined to make a major impact in WWE.
Bronson Reed
The other Bron in The Vision, Reed is also a star that has top billing potential that could be shaped by being a “Paul Heyman Guy”.
Heyman confessed to being “humbled” by Oba Femi, a rare occurrence in the veteran’s career, laying out what Reed would have to do to defeat the dominant star.
Taking that advice on board and delivering a definitive outcome to the match may be enough to light the fire in Heyman, seeing him back Reed for a future beyond The Vision.
Oba Femi
With a loss to Oba Femi at SummerSlam in August of this year, Brock Lesnar retired as an active WWE star, bringing an end to an on-screen relationship with Paul Heyman that started in 2002.
Sure, Heyman has had other clients since then, but Lesnar was often the one most closely associated with the mastermind, something that played out well for The Beast Incarnate.
Heyman may have his association with The Vision, despite no longer being a part of the faction, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t side with their biggest threat, in the form of Oba Femi. He has changed allegiances before when it suits his needs, representing CM Punk as opposed to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41, before betraying them both to join Seth Rollins, forming The Vision as a result.
The Value of Paul Heyman
Having returned to WWE in 2012, Paul Heyman has demonstrated that he has an unparalleled vision when it comes to what he offers as both an on-screen talent and in his backstage role.
When it comes to that backstage role, Heyman has previously indicated he serves “at the pleasure of the Chief Content Officer“, indicating a close relationship with Triple H, with a focus on developing stars to take them to the next level, in whatever form that may take.
With many stars coming through, breaking out and set for the main event picture, having Heyman on hand to guide them or represent them on screen proves what a valuable asset he is in WWE.
