The Great Khali

“My God, look at the size of him,” said Vince McMahon (probably).

Honestly, you can sort of see the appeal of Khali, with the Punjabi Playboy standing 7ft 1in tall with hands the size of dustbin lids.

The problem was, he pretty much couldn’t move. His huge frame was about as suited to wrestling as I am to dating, and it didn’t take fans long to realise this point.

His move-set comprised a chop, a kick, a vice grip, and a power-bomb…and that’s it. Although it was sometimes difficult to look away from his matches, simply because of how huge he was, they were also always terrible.

After defeating the likes of the Undertaker, WWE actually had the insane idea of putting the World Heavyweight Title on Khali, which lasted until Batista defeated him in a Punjabi Prison match at No Mercy 2007.

Thankfully, this was the end of his push and he was then put into the Playboy role, which involved kissing fans and dancing. Wrestling…
