At WWE WrestleMania 42 night two, Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

Following this victory, ‘The OTC’ stated that he planned to be around a lot more often now that he was champion.

Despite being announced for the next eight episodes of WWE Raw, Reigns’ dates in June were removed from the schedule due to not being planned for the Night of Champions 2026 event which may lead to WWE needing a replacement for him moving forward during this time.

Here are seven potential WWE replacements for Roman Reigns in June.

7. Jacob Fatu

On the April 20 WWE Raw after WrestleMania 42, Jacob Fatu stepped up to challenge his cousin Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Wanting everything that ‘The OTC’ has, Fatu wasn’t backing down from Reigns and proved himself to be the first challenger for this new reign of ‘The Head of the Table.’

Now that the two cousins colliding for the World Heavyweight Title is official for WWE Backlash 2026, there could be a major title change planned for this premium live event.

Fatu beating Reigns would be surprising, but it would also prove to be the biggest win in the entire career of ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ that places him in the upper echelon of WWE to stay for years to come.

6. Jey Uso

During the first run of The Bloodline, a lot of the group was centered around the rise of Jey Uso.

Going from a tag team specialist to ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso, fans have seen the Bloodline member become a World Heavyweight Champion and Intercontinental Champion over the past few years.

While Jey has reunited with his twin brother Jimmy, Uso could be thrusted right back into the main event picture once again.

Jey replacing Roman Reigns would make a ton of sense and would be someone ‘The OTC’ would have no problem passing the torch to.

5. Solo Sikoa

Another WWE star Roman Reigns has helped to elevate in his career has to be his cousin Solo Sikoa.

After Reigns lost the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40, it was Sikoa who stepped up in his absence to become the leader of The New Bloodline.

With the likes of Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga by his side, Solo created The MFTs and fulfilled his destiny as ‘The Tribal Heir.’

If Reigns is finishing up his run in WWE, Sikoa feels like someone who would be fitting to take his place in the company moving forward.

4. Seth Rollins

Throughout Roman Reigns’ legendary career in WWE, he has been consistently linked to his former Shield brethren Seth Rollins.

When Reigns has taken time off or couldn’t take the top spot in the promotion, it has usually been Rollins who has stepped into his spot.

‘The Visionary’ is someone with the credentials and legacy that stands up to what Reigns has accomplished in the company.

Rollins replacing Reigns feels like one of the easiest options for WWE to go in, knowing that the former World Heavyweight Champion is more than prepared to take the mantle when ‘The OTC’ is gone.

3. Bron Breakker

Over the past few years, fans have watched Bron Breakker rise up the ranks to become one of the most prominent stars on the WWE main roster.

Since his initial debut in NXT, it has felt like the company has been grooming Breakker to become a top star for years to come.

With Paul Heyman by his side and his family lineage, Breakker has drawn logical comparisons to the rise of Roman Reigns in WWE.

After trying to make his name on the back of Reigns, CM Punk and Seth Rollins, Breakker getting the nod to replace Reigns feels like a logical move for WWE to make knowing he has been getting ready for this moment.

2. CM Punk

At WrestleMania 42 night two, Roman Reigns and CM Punk put on an instant classic that fans will never forget.

While Punk did not walk out with the World Heavyweight Championship, Reigns has admitted that he gained some respect for ‘The Best In The World.’

Punk’s legacy is already intact with everything he has accomplished over the past two decades in WWE, but it feels like he has gotten a second lease on life in wrestling since returning to the company in 2023.

Getting one more run with the World Heavyweight Championship, Punk would be another safe option for WWE to go in, realizing that ‘The Second City Saint’ will want to not only fill Roman’s spot, but overachieve in the role.

1. Oba Femi

There might not be anyone who is riding more momentum in WWE right now quite on the level of Oba Femi.

‘The Ruler’ defeated Brock Lesnar in dominant fashion at WrestleMania 42 night two. After the bout, Lesnar took off his gloves and boots to signal the end of his illustrious career.

After beating and seemingly retiring Lesnar, it feels like the next logical step in Femi’s rise would be to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship and take down Roman Reigns.

Femi defeating ‘The OTC’ to win the top prize in WWE would be the passing of the torch that ‘The Ruler’ needs to be the company’s next megastar and sit at the mountaintop of the industry at just 28 years old.
