WWE Worlds Collide 2020 Preview: Start Time, How To Watch, Match Card, Predictions

Finn Bálor vs. Ilja Dragunov

The international flavour continues with this bout, which sees Irishman Finn Bálor take on Russia’s Ilja Dragunov.

Prediction: Finn Bálor

With Bálor engaged in a highly fuelled rivalry with Johnny Gargano, the two set for a match at Febuary 16’s NXT TakeOver: Portland, it would be really odd for him to be beaten by Dragunov here.

The Russian hasn’t really had any real direction in NXT UK, and although he competed at TakeOver: Cardiff in a losing effort to Cesaro, the most notable thing he’s done has been aligning with Gallus for like three weeks.

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Toni Storm – NXT Women’s Championship

This is the second title match on the card, and it sees NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley renew her rivalry with Toni Storm.

The winner of this will go on to NXT TakeOver: Portland to defend against Bianca Belair, who won a Battle Royal to earn top contendership last week on NXT TV.

Prediction: Rhea Ripley

Much like Garza, Ripley’s reign is still young and it would be quite the shock to see her lose the title so soon.

Undisputed ERA vs. Imperium

The main event of Worlds Collide will be a big four-on-four tag team match, pitting the top stable of each brand against each other as Undisputed ERA face Imperium.

Prediction: Undisputed ERA

Undisputed ERA has often been referred to as the measuring stick for NXT, and unless there’s something really major planned for WALTER, Imperium, or the NXT UK brand, I don’t see that changing here.

With Strong having lost the North American Title to Keith Lee earlier this week, there might be signs of weakness, but I don’t think we’ll see weakness to the point of losing this match.

However, I wouldn’t be too surprised if we see an upset here.
