Kevin’s Thoughts: I wrote in my WrestleMania 35 Predicts article that Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey would likely headline WrestleMania 35. While that seems to be the overwhelming buzz right now, their post WrestleMania 34 angles have not inspired me. Ronda Rousey sent Stephanie McMahon off TV the night after WrestleMania 34 and has done a couple of spots assisting Natalya. Charlotte Flair has lost the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship to Carmella’s cash-in and failed to defeat Carmella at Backlash. She has qualified for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match which I theorize may be a way to get her over to Raw if she wins it. That would put Ronda and Charlotte on the same brand. However, Ronda’s booking doesn’t scream “the main event of WrestleMania 35” right now. I could quickly be proven wrong as soon as her next match happens but for now, I’d be cautious to put money on this.

A main event with Brock Lesnar would actually be my new hypothesis at this point. He retained the WWE Universal Championship at Greatest Royal Rumble and doesn’t have a title match set for the near future. We don’t know the full details of his new contract other than it ends before SummerSlam, but we know his championship reign (which is about to pass CM Punk) is going to end on a major show if we know anything about how Vince works.

If Brock makes it out of Extreme Rules (the July event) and heads towards SummerSlam with the belt, look out to these odds. Of all his possible challengers, Braun Strowman v. Brock Lesnar at +1000 looks pretty enticing to me right now. Braun is exactly the kind of babyface monster that could defeat the beast and have WrestleMania 35 end with a bang (and not with a whimper, as we all remember from this past event).
