The first AEW singles match between Adam Copeland (Edge) and Christian Cage has been officially announced.

On tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage called out Adam Copeland to talk to him about an epiphany he had while on a drive.

Recalling that he loved their memories together, he wanted them to reunite for one final run as Copeland’s Mother Judy had wanted.

With Adam Copeland anticipating the betrayal, he turned around to catch Cage with a strike and went on to repeat Christian’s recently infamous “Go f**k yourself,” line to punctuate the mood.

Before leaving the ring however he revealed that he would be challenging Cage for the TNT Championship the Montreal debut of AEW Dynamite next Wednesday, December 6.
