AEW World Tag Team Champion Cash Wheeler has been arrested.
He is currently incarcerated in Florida.
Wheeler, real name Daniel Wheeler, was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
The arrest took place this morning (Friday, August 18).
AEW has issued the following statement:
“AEW has been made aware of the charge, and we are closely monitoring the situation. He is fully cooperating with local authorities.”
