Chris Jericho has reacted to a suggestion from a follower that was, in itself, a reply to a post about “haters” from the recent podcast.
The AEW star recently appeared on Insight with Chris Van Vliet and commented on his wrestling career and the negativity it occasionally receives.
Van Vliet would share a couple of quotes from the podcast, one of which read:
“There’s a lot of Chris Jericho haters rights now.
“It’s kind of in vogue to hate Chris Jericho for whatever reason.
“And, once again, I’ve never cared.
“I mean, sometimes it gets to you, but I only judge myself.
“Am I still able to have the best match on the show on any given night?
“Yes. Not every night. But on any given night, am I still doing entertaining segments and having great matches and thinking of ideas and building the company and helping others? Yes!”
In response to this post, there would be a number of comments about Jericho’s time in AEW, but one from a follower caught his attention.
AIRGold_ posted a suggestion, writing:
“With Kenny’s injury, now would be a good time for Jericho to take some time off.
“Be off TV for 2 months. give the fans a chance to miss him.”
In response to the suggestion, Jericho replied:
“Great idea! See ya on Wednesday….”
It was recently revealed that Omega was suffering from serious diverticulitis and would be off AEW television as a result.
Omega and Jericho had formed the tag team Golden Jets, a name coined by Jericho many years ago.
