Andrade El Idolo isn’t coming to CMLL alone on Friday December 15, bringing an associate from AEW with him.
It was recently reported that Andrade El Idolo would be making his return to the promotion on December 15.
With earlier reports stating Andrade’s AEW contract is due to be up soon, this has led to speculation he could be heading back to WWE.
It had been indicated that Andrade wanted to return to CMLL soon in case he ends up moving back to WWE, where he wouldn’t be able to wrestle for other promotions like he currently can while under contract to AEW.
In a recent post on the Lucha Libre CMLL Twitter account, it was revealed that Andrade El Idolo would be joined by none other than CJ Perry in Arena Mexico.
As can be seen below, Perry notes that she will not only be debuting for CMLL but it will be her first time at Arena Mexico.
Perry serves as the manager of Andrade El Idolo in AEW, with the pair having recently given an insight into their plans for 2024.
Andrade El Idolo has held multiple championships in CMLL, including the CMLL Universal Championship and a number of NWA titles.
