AEW Crowd Chants For WWE Star Cody Rhodes

On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the crowd began chanting for former AEW EVP and current WWE star Cody Rhodes.

As the old saying goes, you don’t know what you’ve got until it is gone!

During a passionate promo on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin was confronting the Young Bucks for their outlandish behavior and made several references to the past.

Saying that while he was homeless, he couldn’t get the Young Bucks to care about him yet they managed to sign all of their ‘California Crew’ friends.

Echoing common gripes about the EVPs from online fans and even those with pasts in the industry, Darby Allin would go on to wage common critiques towards the Bucks.

However it was when Allin said he was grateful that there was an EVP in AEW in the beginning “with a brain”, he would add he wasn’t talking about Kenny Omega as the crowd erupted.

Chanting ‘Cody! Cody! Cody!’ for current WWE star Cody Rhodes, it seems that event those in attendance at AEW Dynamite are willing to acknowledge the American Nightmare!

Cody was of course a founding EVP of AEW with the Bucks and Omega, but left the company in 2022 before returning to WWE, where he’s now set to main event WrestleMania for the second year running against Roman Reigns.

Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, there was a rare non-finish as a match devolved into chaos after a an interference from an entire faction.
