Tony Khan’s big announcement on Dynamite wasn’t the announcement of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2, but a date may have been revealed.
On AEW Dynamite, Khan announced a ‘behind-the-scenes experience’ in the form of a reality TV show called AEW: All Access that is coming in March 2023.
Meanwhile, the cable TV company Spectrum has an interesting upcoming show listed on their schedule.
Along with AEW Revolution on March 5, AEW Double or Nothing on May 28, they also list AEW Forbidden Door on June 24 2023.
The first AEW Forbidden Door took place on June 26 at the United Center in Chicago.
Khan has recently stated that AEW and NJPW are “looking forward to doing it again”, but hasn’t revealed when it would likely take place.
In December 2022, Khan had reflected on the first AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in an interview, describing how it was “challenging” but felt that it was, overall, a success “in every conceivable way.”
