Another AEW Star Misses Dynamite Due To Illness AEW

Another AEW star missed the June 28 episode of AEW Dynamite due to illness with an appearance on Rampage also being skipped.

It had previously been announced that Britt Baker wasn’t cleared to wrestle due to illness and missed her scheduled match with Ruby Soho on last night’s June 28 Dynamite with the match now scheduled for next week.

At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door this past Sunday, Baker’s real-life boyfriend Adam Cole was unwell with a fever that was suspected to be the flu and had his match against Tom Lawlor pulled from the pay-per-view.

While Cole did appear in a backstage segment on AEW Dynamite, there’s actually another name who wasn’t at the show due to illness.

According to PWInsider, Max Caster was set to appear in a segment on AEW Rampage (taped after Dynamite).

On Rampage, Caster’s teammates Billy Gunn and Anthony Bowens made the save during the QT Marshall & Johnny TV match against Matt Hardy & Brother Zay (Isiah Kassidy).

Caster was also set to appear at Wrestling Open facing Richard Holliday on Thursday, June 29 with Beyond Wrestling confirming there will be a new opponent for Holliday.

The Acclaimed member would address his illness on social media in response to Beyond Wrestling, tweeting:

“This is what happens when you go out for sushi in Worcester…”

With AEW Fight Forever finally being available to play, fans have noticed that The Acclaimed are not in the game.

Max Caster has addressed their absence from the game and promised that they will be added at some point in the future.

Anthony Bowens recently addressed the positive “he’s gay” reaction he’s been receiving on AEW Rampage.
